Harmar – AHN Neighborhood Hospital

AHN Harmar will provide convenient access to high-quality emergency care and other important health services to people living northeast of Pittsburgh. This small-format hospital will be open 24/7, with 10 inpatient beds, an emergency department, a laboratory, and other complementary medical services and plans to open in the Fall of 2020.

The 10-bed hospital will sit at the corner of busy Freeport and Guys Run Road. It sits  two stories tall and is 24,000 square feet. It is a great compliment to nearby facilities such as the outpatient center on Freeport Road in the Waterworks Mall and, 14 miles down Freeport Road, Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

The two-story neighborhood hospitals are more the norm around the Emerus facilities, AHN’s joint venture partner on neighborhood hospitals.

It will be convenient not only for Harmar residents but also people from Fox Chapel, O’Hara Township and even Hampton Township.
